Scoot over, Newsboys. Another Australian band is making a splash in the Christian rock scene. We can thank Third Day for Revive, as they are mainly responsible for bringing the Aussies to the States. Indeed, their debut in the United States, entitled Chorus of the Saints, is enticing. While the band doesn't exactly bring us anything that hasn't been heard before, what they do bring forth is quite polished and exciting. What's even more refreshing is the worship-infused rock sound seen here. There's nothing watered down on this disc. This isn't necessarily "Album of the Year" material, but this quartet's debut is very appealing; Revive should be one of the more impressive new artists this year.
